Is it still worth playing?
Captain Syrup returns for revenge and steals most of the treasure from Wario's castle, and Wario sets out to get it back, in this 1998 platformer for the Game Boy. Wario cannot die. Enemies knock him away and he loses coins, or he changes form: Zombie Wario falls through thin platforms, Flat Wario crosses small holes and long gaps, and Fire Wario burns through certain blocks. A form ends with a timer or is cured by a nearby object. There are no time limits, health points or limited lives, and the levels are mostly puzzles, with hidden items in unexpected places and usually a hint nearby. Five levels have secret exits leading to alternate levels, each with its own boss. Every level has a secret room with a minigame that wins a treasure. With no way to die and no clock, you can explore and work out what each form does at your own pace, even now.
