Is it still worth playing?
The caped crime fighter Darkwing Duck is called on to stop a mysterious crime wave in this 1992 platformer for the NES. The agency F.O.W.L. has hired six of his old foes to cause chaos across the city, among them Megavolt, Quackerjack, Bushroot and the Liquidator, and he has to beat them to reach their boss, Steelbeak. You choose among three stages at the start, and three more open afterwards. Darkwing fires a gas gun and can collect Thunder, Heavy and Arrow gas, one type at a time, switching between it and the standard gas with Select. His cape blocks certain projectiles when you press Up, though he cannot fire while it is up. Hooks in many levels let him hang and also act as switches, and he can take four hits. The order of the first three stages and a gas gun with swappable gases still give each run decisions to make.
