Is it still worth playing?

Hawke arrives in the city of Kirkwall as a lowly refugee and becomes its legendary champion over a turbulent decade, in this 2011 BioWare role-playing game. Hawke is a human mage, rogue or warrior, in the world of Thedas. You explore and fight from a third person view, and the combat was made more action oriented than in the first game. Companions play major roles in the plot and gameplay, and depending on your decisions and dialogue, each one recognizes Hawke as a friend or a rival. Nearly the entire game is set in a single city, which lets the developers reuse assets, and you see how the city changes over the years. Combat is fast paced, with simplified skill trees that give each character a distinct role. Companions who become friends or rivals still change who stands beside Hawke.
