Is it still worth playing?
The Nameless Hero sails to a new continent where orcs have enslaved the human kingdom, in this 2006 action role-playing game for Windows by Piranha Bytes. It is the sequel to Gothic II and the third game of the Gothic series. The world is huge and free to roam, with hundreds of characters with their own behaviour and a lot of side quests. Reputation drives it: there are six factions, and the Rebels, the orc mercenaries and the Hashishin can be joined. You complete quests and hunt monsters to gain experience and improve skills. It launched unfinished, and bug fixes kept coming through community patches. A large world where you choose a side still leaves a lot of room to explore.
