Is it still worth playing?

A young mercenary named Ryudo is hired to protect Elena, a songstress of the Church of Granas, in this 2000 role playing game for the Dreamcast. The world is set thousands of years after a war between the god of light and the god of darkness, and the journey shows that the church's history is not what it seems. It was the first Grandia with fully three dimensional graphics, and battles are fast paced and in 3D. Magic coins and special coins buy or improve magic attacks and special moves instead of use based experience. Bosses give Mana Eggs and Skill Books that raise stats for any character. Ryudo travels with his falcon partner Skye. The dungeons are shorter than in the first game, with puzzles such as changing water levels, activating glyphs and finding switches. Short dungeons with puzzles of rising water and glyphs still keep the journey moving.
