Is it still worth playing?

Red and Blue, the Gunstars, travel to the moons to stop a resurrected Empire in this 2005 run and gun game for the Game Boy Advance, a sequel to Gunstar Heroes. You can switch among three weapon types at any time, and combining weapons is gone. Red and Blue have slightly different abilities and guns, and the two player play of the original was removed. Defeating enemies fills a supercharge meter that powers a strong attack, and melee attacks come from the A and B buttons with the D pad. The stages are based on those of the first game, cut up and expanded with new segments, such as a forest stage that opens with a 3D flying section. The story changes with the difficulty and the character you choose. Levels reworked from the first game and three guns to switch between still give you plenty to try.
