Is it still worth playing?

Enroth is destroyed, and the survivors escape through a portal to Axeoth, where six campaigns follow six leaders founding kingdoms. It is a 2002 strategy game for Windows and the Mac, the fourth Heroes of Might and Magic. The heroes fight now: they stand on the battlefield beside their troops, rather than watching from the edge, and can die there. There are more than forty classes for a hero to grow into, recruitment is daily rather than weekly, and the travel spells are gone. Its second expansion was the studio's last before its publisher's bankruptcy sent the series to Ubisoft for 1.3 million dollars. The hero on the field is still a general who can be killed, and has to be kept alive.
