Is it still worth playing?

The New World lies open before you in this 1999 strategy game for Windows and the Mac, the second Imperialism, moved back to the sixteenth century. You rule a European nation at the start of the Age of Exploration, and the sequel added a continent nobody has mapped, with precious metals and luxuries the Old World does not have. The economy is the game as before, raw materials to dig and grow, a transport network to carry them, workers to allocate and food to keep coming, with envoys to nurture trade agreements and spies to sabotage your enemies. You win with more than half the Old World, by war or by diplomacy. The New World is still a blank continent at the edge of the economy, and a race to be the one who fills it in.
