Is it still worth playing?
The Prince rolls up junk with his katamari to restore the memory of the King of All Cosmos and the stars that RoboKing has destroyed, in this 2009 game for the PlayStation 3. It has 34 stages, all but three taken from earlier Katamari games. Half take place in the King's mind, in black and white, where rolling up junk brings the color back, and the others are in the present, where RoboKing goes on a rampage. The Prince can now hop, and the King's and RoboKing's hearts are power ups that pull in nearby objects of the right size. The game runs at 1080p and offers graphic filters such as colored pencil and wood grain. It has local multiplayer and online leaderboards but no online multiplayer. The frame rate slows when the katamari gets big, and the camera struggles in tight spaces. Rolling up ever larger objects to make stars is still the whole idea, and it is quick to grasp now.
