Is it still worth playing?

Characters from Konami's games, such as Dracula, a ninja from Metal Gear and the Moai from Gradius, race in this 2001 kart racing game that launched with the Game Boy Advance. Eight racers line up in each race, seen from behind, with Mode 7 scaling for the three dimensions. Each character has its own speed, acceleration and grip. The courses pay homage to Gradius, TwinBee and Parodius, with remixes of Konami tunes. Red bells give weapons such as homing missiles, shields and mines, and blue bells give a speed boost. Coins buy items in a shop, and there is no power sliding. The modes are Grand Prix, single race, battle and time attack, and license tests unlock later tracks. License tests that unlock tracks and an item shop still give single player racing a goal.
