Is it still worth playing?

A retelling of the story of Lunar: The Silver Star for the Game Boy Advance, with changes to the story and content, from Japan Art Media in 2002. It plays like a traditional role-playing game with 2D sprites and environments, and battles are random encounters. Unlike in the original, characters return to their positions after attacking, so positioning no longer matters. A new Arts gauge fills as characters attack, and when it is full they can unleash powerful special attacks. The visuals were redrawn for the smaller screen, but the voices are gone, cutscenes are stills with text and the music has been heavily altered. The dungeons were redesigned and the game is easier than the two 32 bit versions. A card collecting quest lets you trade cards over a link cable. A portable retelling still lets a familiar story fit in the palm of a hand.
