About this game
BioWare's 2007 role playing game, made for the Xbox 360 first, where a conversation is a wheel rather than a list. You pick a direction instead of a line: left keeps a conversation going, right moves it on, and the top and the bottom of the wheel are the polite answer and the sharp one, which feed a pair of meters called Paragon and Renegade. Six classes, two squadmates, and a fight you can freeze to line up their abilities and your own. The other half is the Mako, a six wheeled truck you drop onto uncharted planets and drive up mountains that were not built to be driven up. Its inventory was criticised on release. The Mako is why the galaxy feels like one place: the planets are mostly empty, and crossing them at that speed is how you learn how big it is meant to be.
