Is it still worth playing?

A 2004 game from Day 1 Studios and FASA Studio, exclusive to the Xbox and set in the BattleTech universe, made right after the first MechAssault. The developers focused on expanding the online and networking features to build on the success of the original as a pilot title for Xbox Live. It also has a more open ended gameplay style, in which you can leave your mech and use several vehicles. The story is set in Dante City on the planet Dante, where hundreds of dropships arrive and a strange MechWarrior named Alera, a space pirate, appears. You use a new powered armor suit, the BattleArmor, to stop the invaders. There are over thirty vehicles, including battlemechs, tanks, planes and gun turrets, and the VTOL pilot can provide power ups and drop bombs. Stepping out of the machine to drive a tank gives the war a new angle.
