Is it still worth playing?

Zero fights to protect Area Zero, the last known habitable place, from the Neo Arcadia regime under Weil, in this 2005 platformer for the Game Boy Advance. You pick among eight stages, each usually split in two by a mini boss, and a boss ends every one. Zero has the Buster Shot and the Z Saber, and the Z Knuckle, a punch that can also hang from objects, break certain blocks and steal enemy weapons. You choose the weather for each stage, which can make it harder but opens items or routes that are otherwise out of reach. A new Easy Mode helps learning, though the weather system and most unlocks are not available in it, and a secret hard mode exists. The caravan replaces the Resistance base, and Zero gets a Cyber Elf almost at once. Choosing the weather and the order of eight stages still gives you a say in how hard each one is.
