Is it still worth playing?
Ulala, a reporter for Space Channel 5, has to stop the Rhythm Rogues and their dancing madness, in this 2002 music game from United Game Artists for the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2. You mimic the moves of your rivals in time to the music, through six 3D levels you can pick from the start. A new HEY! command and a charged command were added, and Ulala now moves instantly in the direction you press, which removes the lag of the first game. Stars replace the heart meter at certain points. Instrument duels include a guitar battle and a drumming match, and rescuing a whole group of hostages triggers a concert. Ulala Dance is a 100 dance endurance mode, and costumes are unlocked through achievements. It reached the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows in high definition in 2011. Copying moves in time to the music is still the whole game, with duels to break it up.
