Is it still worth playing?
A platform game developed by Amusement Vision and published by Sega for the GameCube in 2002, the second Super Monkey Ball game and the first with a story and made only for a home console. You roll a monkey in a ball with the stick through maze like stages with obstacles, within a time limit, without falling off. The paths loop, spin and corkscrew, and new switches fast forward, rewind or stop platforms, which add strategy and puzzle solving. The story mode groups 100 levels in ten worlds, with cutscenes, where AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon and Baby chase the evil scientist Dr. Bad Boon, who stole all the bananas from Monkey Island. You have infinite lives. The difficulty curve is steeper than before, and there are multiplayer minigames for a party. Its stages were remade in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. A rolling ball and a clock still make each stage easy to understand.
