Is it still worth playing?

A 2002 survival horror shooter and sequel to John Carpenter's 1982 film, in which Captain Blake leads a Special Forces team to its Antarctic outpost to find out what happened there. The squad members you find follow your orders, but any of them can be infected by the shape-shifting alien. How they see you depends on what you do, and if they lose their trust in you they may turn on you. A blood test kit, used in front of them, shows who is still human. You run and shoot, use flashlights, fire extinguishers and flares, and can switch to first person to aim. The small creatures die to gunfire, while the larger ones have to be weakened with bullets and finished with fire. Carpenter makes a cameo. The squad is still what makes it worth playing: you need them, and any one of them could be the Thing.
