Is it still worth playing?

Chemical weapons are being smuggled through Las Vegas, and Bishop, a Rainbow operative you build yourself, works the case in events set before and after the first game. It is a 2008 tactical shooter for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with a PC version that April, the second Vegas. It is the first game's cover shooter, first person until you press against a wall, with squadmates' AI improved so they cover each other and take a grenade order by voice over a headset. Deaths are fast and sudden, so it is less about health than about the mathematics of risk: if you are shot at and not in cover or firing back, you are dead. The ACES system pays for the way you fight, unlocking weapons for kills at range, up close or from cover, and Terrorist Hunt takes four together where the campaign takes two. The servers closed in 2021. ACES still pays you for how you fought, kill by kill.
