Is it still worth playing?
While his friend Jak is imprisoned, the wisecracking sidekick Daxter becomes a bug exterminator, in this 2006 platformer for the PSP. It takes place during the two year gap shown at the start of Jak II. He works for the Critter Ridder Extermination Company, the only pest control firm left in Haven City, which has a robotic bug infestation. There are about 18 levels, each with an objective, and bugs drop gold orbs. His main weapon is an electric fly swatter, and a spray tank that stuns enemies later gains a jetpack, a flamethrower and a sonic blaster. He can double jump, grab ledges and ride a hover bike. Dream sequences parody films, with button prompts as the enemies come faster. The main story takes about ten hours. A fly swatter, a spray tank with upgrades and dream levels each still give a mission a different tool.
