Is it still worth playing?
The heroes of the Marvel Universe join forces to defeat Doctor Doom and his Masters of Evil and stop their plans for global domination, in this 2006 action role-playing game from Raven Software. It features many superheroes, supervillains and supporting characters from Marvel Comics, and, like the studio's X-Men Legends games, it lets you choose from a vast cast to create a superhero team. It came out for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360, and as a launch title for the PlayStation 3 and Wii in November 2006. The PlayStation 3 version was one of three launch games for the system that ran at 1080p. Specific hero groups unlock team bonuses, and after a point in the game you can build a team of any four heroes. Building your own team from a huge cast still makes every run different.
