Is it still worth playing?

The second episode of the Penumbra series, developed by Frictional Games and released in February 2008, which continues the story of Overture. Philip leaves the abandoned mine of the first game for an underground research base in an exploration based survival horror seen in first person. Combat is heavily reduced, as you can no longer make weapons or traps, so you rely on stealth and fleeing from enemy creatures. Puzzles mix inventory puzzles with physics ones, such as stacking boxes to build a stairway past a laser tripwire or placing boards over a pit, and you often use the base's computers and security systems. A physics engine handles every object, which you grab, push or move, and enemies check their paths and may push, kick or break through obstacles. Objects you can move around still give you your own way through each room.
