Is it still worth playing?
An American mercenary travels the world to stop a terrorist nuclear weapons plot, in this 2000 first person shooter from Raven Software, built on the Quake II engine. It is known for its realistic depiction of violence, made possible by the GHOUL engine, including the dismemberment of human bodies, with 26 zones on enemy bodies that react differently depending on which one you hit. It caused considerable controversy, especially in Canada and Germany, where it was restricted. It was released on Windows, then on the PlayStation 2 as Gold Edition and on the Dreamcast, and it has two sequels. A graphic engine of bodies and weapons is still the game's stamp.
