About this game
Obsidian's 2004 sequel, made in about fourteen months and shipped unfinished because of it. It watches your party in a way the first game never did. Influence rises and falls with what you say and who hears it, and enough of it lets you teach a companion the Force, so the people you brought along can finish the game as Jedi. Prestige classes specialise a Jedi further, towards the lightsaber or towards the powers. Five years have passed since the first game and the Jedi are nearly gone. The state it shipped in is the thing to know before starting: a planet was cut and several arcs stop halfway, and a fan restoration has been putting them back since 2009. Influence is why a second run goes differently, because the party you end with is one you argued into shape rather than one you simply collected.
