Is it still worth playing?
In this 2003 action role playing game for the Game Boy Advance, you pick Cleru or Pratty, the child of a famous Craftsknight. You enter a tournament and explore a labyrinth under the town of Wystern. The story runs over ten days, and each day more levels of the labyrinth unlock, with required quests to finish. A day usually ends after a tournament or a boss battle. At night you choose whom to spend time with, and that decides a final cutscene. Side quests are mostly simple fetch tasks. Forging weapons is a main focus: you need a weapon technique, which a smith teaches you each day, and materials, which you get by sacrificing items or weapons. The materials come in four elements, fire, water, lightning and wind. Early questions assign you one of four Guardian Beasts. Forging new weapons from the materials you find still gives each trip into the labyrinth a purpose.
