Is it still worth playing?

Torin, a young farm boy on the world of Strata, sets off to find his parents after the sorceress Lycentia takes them, going down through the nested worlds of the planet by crystal phenocrysts. It is a 1995 cartoonish point and click fantasy for MS-DOS, Windows and the Mac. Al Lowe, known for adult oriented games, made it as a game he could play with his daughter after the two watched Mrs. Doubtfire, and it came late in its publisher's adventure game life as a counterpart to the King's Quest series. The puzzles pay in points, and Boogle, a companion who turns into whatever item a puzzle needs, is switched to when a thing has to become another thing. A hint system is built in and can be set to help as much or as little as you like. It is still an adventure for a parent and a child, with a hint for whichever of them is stuck.
