Is it still worth playing?
You tend a garden that piñata creatures visit and come to live in, in this 2006 Xbox 360 game from Rare that began as a mobile gardening game. The piñatas look like piñatas but behave like animals, such as horses, raccoons, foxes, frogs and bees, and you tend the land to attract and keep them. Rare's co-founder Tim Stamper conceived a gardening game for a handheld around 2002. The concept artist arrived at piñatas because the team wanted its animals to have a unified style. The game was made kid friendly and launched alongside an animated series by 4Kids. The game has more than sixty species, and each has its own behaviors and animations for happy, sick or depressed states. A garden full of candy colored animals still makes tending it a cheerful chore.
