Brütal Legend 2009

Is it still worth playing?

Eddie Riggs, a roadie voiced by and modeled on Jack Black, is transported to a fantasy world inspired by heavy metal album covers, in this 2009 action adventure from Double Fine. He leads downtrodden humans against supernatural overlords with a battle axe called the Separator, a Flying V guitar named Clementine that casts magic, and a customizable hot rod. Stage Battles have you command troops to defeat foes while defending your own stage, in single and multiplayer. The voice cast includes the metal musicians Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford, and more than one hundred metal songs were chosen for the game. Stage Battles are an action and real time strategy hybrid, won by controlling fan geysers with merch booths, and his hot rod is called the Deuce. A guitar that casts magic still sets the tone of every fight.
